4Patriots Officials Believe Every Month Should Be National Preparedness Month

The government has designated September as National Preparedness Month, but officials at 4Patriots urge people to make sure they’re prepared for a crisis all year long.
Nashville, TN, United States - September 19, 2016 /MarketersMedia/ —
Here’s something that preppers and the U.S. government see eye-to-eye on: the importance of preparing for an emergency.
The government has declared September as “National Preparedness Month,” according to the Troy (Ohio) Daily News and other media outlets. This designation serves as a reminder to take action now to prepare for the types of emergencies that could affect people where they live, work and visit.
Officials at Nashville, Tenn.-based 4Patriots LLC, which provides products that help people become more independent and self-sufficient, believe every month should be National Preparedness Month. Among its products are Food4Patriots, emergency food suitable for long-term storage and survival; the Patriot Power Generator, a portable solar generator; Water4Patriots, personal and tabletop water filtration systems; and SurvivalSeeds4Patriots, American-grown heirloom and non-GMO seeds.
“Many Americans have already been hit by disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes and flooding that have made it difficult to find food, and it’s just a matter of time before many others face the same type of crisis,” said Allen Baler, Partner at 4Patriots.
“The best strategy for individuals to protect themselves against a crisis is stockpiling good-tasting, nutritious, long-lasting survival food that will be ready and waiting for them when they need it most.”
Food4Patriots meals are offered in 72-hour, one-week, four-week, three-month and one-year kits. Because they have shelf lives of up to 25 years, it’s not necessary to periodically rotate stockpiles. The food can be prepared in less than 20 minutes and requires only boiling water.
The company puts considerable time and energy into making sure its survival food is packaged properly, using space-age Mylar packaging for its re-sealable pouches. The pouches are then tucked inside tough, airtight, stackable totes that are discreet and store anywhere – basement, attic, garage, shed, cabin or even an RV. This packaging provides a complete barrier against light, oxygen and moisture, the three things that will destroy food over time.
Food4Patriots provides emergency food products that are shelf-stable for 25 years. Food4Patriots survival food kits are made with food grown, harvested and packaged in the United States, and all of the meals are made without any genetically-modified products, preservatives or fillers. The kits are available in 72-hour, one-week, four-week, three-month and one-year supplies.
