Accuhealth today announced that its Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) solution is now available to patients in over 300 languages and American Sign Language (ASL) for the hearing impaired through its proprietary video conferencing telemedicine application.
Reaching patients through numerous languages will serve to increase accessibility and inclusivity while providing consistent, quality care to those with chronic conditions like hypertension and diabetes. Language barriers have historically been an impediment in accessing healthcare services for millions of Americans, and the advantages of telemedicine have not been realized equitably, particularly by those with Limited English Proficiency (LEP).
