As Manhattan Office Leasing Hits a 26-Year High, Super-G Intelligence Urges Tenants to Plan IT Before Buildouts
Nov 3, 2026
Super-G Intelligence says firms considering fitout should pay more attention to completing their IT infrastructure before workers arrive.
Queens, NY, November 3, 2026 -- With Manhattan office leasing reaching new highs, Super-G Intelligence is urging caution. It knows that many companies will be signing contracts for new space and building it out themselves, but possibly in the wrong order. The provider, based in Queens, is encouraging firms to plan their network and conference rooms before construction starts, so they can be well positioned once staff arrive.
Many office fitout projects put technology elements, including IT, last. This approach results in some items being placed in the wrong place or suboptimally for the office layout. Other times, the internet isn't available when the office opens, damaging productivity and preventing staff from conducting meetings and conferences online.
Super-G Intelligence says the best way to get around this is to work from a new floor plan. It maps out all of the elements the office requires, including desks, closets, and data cables, and places them before brands decide on partition wall locations.
A spokesperson from Super-G Intelligence said the following:
“We always recommend that our clients get a head start on technology fitouts in their offices. When workers do arrive, they'll expect the internet and other equipment to work flawlessly so they can get on with their work. We suggest starting this process early, especially regarding internet circuits, because carrier lead times can sometimes be longer than the fit-out itself. Carrier activations aren't the responsibility of contractors or installers already on site, so they need to be planned ahead.”
The same, according to Super-G Intelligence, is true of conference rooms. Most video call systems work best on a wired connection instead of relying on Wi-Fi. Super-G Intelligence integrates Webex, Zoom Rooms, and Microsoft Teams Rooms into all of its designs. It can also assist businesses with sightlines and the acoustic properties of conference rooms, ensuring that they don't affect quiet working areas outside, or vice versa.
Super-G Intelligence provides these services while also working around building rules and after-hours access schedules. It can test IT components like Wi-Fi and cabling before staff arrive to ensure everything is working as it should ahead of time. Technicians are available for the first morning to deal with any remaining hiccups.
