Brinton Vision Honored by St. Louis Magazine Award as #1 LASIK Eye Surgery Center in St Louis

July 16, 2020 - /PressAdvantage/ - Brinton Vision is pleased to announce that the company has been awarded the top spot as #1 Laser Eye Treatment Center in St. Louis Magazine’s yearly tribute to the “area’s finest.” Other finalists included Pepose Vision Institute, Lasik Plus, TLC Laser Eye Centers, and Dr. Stephen Wexler. A yearly survey of the readers’ choice for the best in the metro, the A-list is considered one of the St. Louis area’s top honors. Brinton Vision explains that their practice is unique in that they specialize entirely in LASIK and vision correction surgery and offer all seven modern procedures used to free patients from glasses and contacts.

Dr. Brinton is an internationally recognized specialist in the field of LASIK eye surgery. He is a graduate of Harvard College, earned his medical doctorate from the Harvard Medical School, and is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. “It is gratifying to be recognized by the local community and St. Louis Magazine,” he said. “Our practice is dedicated to one goal: changing lives through the priceless gift of sight.”

Lasik is no longer the only type of corrective vision surgery available. There are many modern variants, Including SMILE, Visian ICL, SBK, PRK, KAMRA inlay, and refractive lens exchange (RLE, a cataract surgery alternative.) Brinton Vision offers all of these services when necessary.

One of Brinton Vision’s patients, Dianne C., commented about her experience with Dr. Brinton. “I was told by other doctors that LASIK surgery was not an option,” she said. “I don’t think that I’d trust anyone else,” she continued.

Readers can find the St. Louis Magazine’s list of nominees and winners on their site. Nominees and winners will be recognized in the July St. Louis Issue. Brinton is in the “Health and Fitness” category of the A-List.

Dr. Brinton added, “We believe in building relationships and treating our patients like family, and that is one of the things that sets us apart in our field.” He said. The practice includes four other vision correction specialists: Dr. Steven Tersigni, Dr. Morgan R. Poore, Dr. JJ Lant, and Dr. Taylor Chesnut.

“No matter what your vision needs are, we can help evaluate the various options for clear, natural vision so patients can see the world through unobstructed eyes,” said Dr. Brinton. “We also give back to the community through educational pieces on our blog covering topics from contact lens safety to dry eyes and allergies,” he said. Brinton Vision’s blog shares everything from vision-friendly food recipes to information and news around LASIK surgery.

Brinton Vision makes a point to be transparent about pricing and the costs of laser surgery as well as the costs of a lifetime of glasses and corrective eye wear. They have recently added information about what the process itself is like for patients. The practice explains that while LASIK itself may only take 15 minutes, patients should plan to be in the office for a few hours for additional confirmatory testing before and after the procedure. Patients return the following day for an examination, then, in order to ensure proper healing and continued success with the vision improvement, patients are asked to return for regular checkups

The practice states that many people are not aware that placing contact lenses in the eye can alter the surface of the eye so eye measurements are not clear and consistent. Contact lens wearers are asked to stay out of their contacts for a period of time before their initial, in-depth eye examination at Brinton. “This is necessary in order to obtain the highest quality test results and gain a complete understanding of the human eye in its healthiest state,” Dr. Brinton said.

Brinton Vision is a state of the art LASIK and laser eye surgery center located in St. Louis, Missouri. The practice is dedicated to one goal changing lives through the priceless gift of sight. Brinton Vision is the only full-time vision correction and eye surgery center in the state of Missouri specializing in LASIK plus all six of its modern variations: SBK, PRK, SMILE, Visian ICL (implantable contact lens), KAMRA® Inlay, and refractive lens exchange (RLE).
