Goodfriend Publishing has announced that it is enjoying success with its video marketing strategies when promoting their book “God is Gay: The Straight Christian’s Guide to the Gay Issue”. The book is available on Amazon, and offers a detailed analysis of scripture and its standing on homosexuality.
More information can be found at: https://youtube.com/watch?v=qpUkm7RiSao
The company explains that 87% of marketers use YouTube for their marketing efforts, and there is a reason for this. It’s because the platform is so engaging, and the material presented there is more quickly absorbed by those watching it.
What’s more, it’s easy to share and discuss YouTube videos in an increasingly social world, which relies on social media platforms more than ever before. Companies are able to promote their products and services on YouTube and easily reach their intended audience.
The message behind the book, which is essentially mainstreaming gay Christians, is a complex subject. But video marketing helps in delivering and engaging with the topic.
Robert Schift said: “I think it’s easier to view a video than to read a long article. Marketers need to do what works.”
The “God is Gay” video says that, according the Pew Research Center, 70% of Americans identify as Christian. What’s more, most American Christians do not attend church regularly.
But what is very interesting is that most American Christians believe that the church should be accepting of homosexuality. Yet most Christian denominations do not accept homosexuality.
This disconnect suggests that church leaders are understanding the Bible one way, while Christians themselves are understanding it another way.
The book “God is Gay” aims to break down this disconnect and showcase what the Bible says on the matter in a way that is 100% understandable to every reader.
The publishers explain that once the reader sees for themselves what God has plainly stated in His Word, the reader can never return to their state of “unseeing” on this issue.
Full details can be found on the video above, and additional information on the book is available at: http://amazon.com/dp/B01GT7BUM4
