Mayo, Yukon Sep 15, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Have you ever had problems getting a perfectly held image when installing a projector? This is because the lens of the projector must be perpendicular to the screen. If one of the corners of the projector does not line up with the opposite corner of it, then you will get a crooked image instead of a perfectly rectangular image.
Many people have encountered this problem with projectors, so someone developed a smart feature to avoid this problem. Call it keystone correction.
What is automatic keystone correction?
Technically speaking, it is the ability to turn a trapezoidal image into a rectangle.
During the daily use of the projector, the projector can be placed at right angles to the projector screen to ensure a square projection effect. If you can't guarantee the vertical angle between the two during use, the projector screen will easily produce the trapezoid problem of wide and narrow.
In such a case, we need to use the projector's keystone correction function to adjust the projected image to ensure that the projected image is always a standard rectangle. Keystone correction technology is usually implemented in two ways: the first is optical keystone correction, optical keystone correction refers to adjusting the lens position of the projector to achieve the purpose of adjusting the keystone; the second method is digital keystone correction, digital keystone correction is through the software method to achieve keystone correction.
In many home projectors, keystone correction requires manual adjustment to achieve, most commonly four-point correction. Then 4D automatic keystone correction technology was invented, which completely solved the problem of projection screen distortion and allowed the projector to be positioned more freely.
