The company's history began in 1987 with Lane Yarbrough, the current owner's father. He started researching the reasons why the asphalt shingles made in the factory would start to exhibit the unsightly black streaks after a few years while working in the Atlanta area for several big roofing companies. He started experimenting with different ways to clean the roofs, and in 1988, their own house was the subject of their first successful roof cleaning. To his advantage, the plant had a chemist on staff who was also working on this issue and gave Lane some recommendations on the best compounds to start experimenting with. Since then, the business has carried out thousands of wash services and perfected the associated procedures.

The business will serve customers and safely and effectively restore their properties as professional outside cleaners. This enables the business to conduct a very fulfilling and successful softwashing business. The team at Southeast Softwash established the equipment manufacturing division in 2018, and since then the business has expanded to become the largest global provider of turn-key equipment.

The team at Southeast Softwash is thrilled to be guiding the industry into the future, alongside the extensive experience that comes from a long history in exterior washing.
