Henderson, United States - June 12, 2018 /PressCable/ —
Lyfe Brands has launched a new report focusing on the benefits of standing desks for video producers. It explains that whether the video specialist is editing a video or making one, video production requires focus, concentration and energy, and it’s easy to sit in front of a computer for hours at a time.
More information can be found at: https://lyfe-brands.com.
Sitting in front of the computer for this amount of time, it can be damaging for the video specialist’s health. Research shows that sitting down for long periods of time can be damaging to health, while standing desks offer a number of benefits. Dr. Kelly Starrett (Physical Therapy Doctorate) wrote a book on the subject, “Standing Up in a Sitting World.” Dr. Starrett is CrossFit trainer, physical therapist, author, and speaker and is an expert on mobility and optimization of athletic performance.
Implementing a standing desk into a video editor’s workspace can be highly beneficial, whether they’re in front of the camera or doing video editing behind the scenes.
What’s more, studies have shown that standing desks can generate a creative boost. Standing up while working can add years to the user’s life, but the report explains that this is especially true for creative professionals and video producers.
Many video editors experience back pain through sitting at their desk for hours at a time. Breaking this up every now and then even for short moments can have huge benefits. Lyfe Brands’ standing desk allows users to easily move from a sitting to standing position.
Further, standing can help to reduce the risk of high blood sugar, while also lowering the risk of heart disease. It also has more immediate physical benefits, like reducing back pain.
Lyfe Brands states: “At Lyfe Brands, we know that the pressure and stress we face in our modern, fast-paced world can only be managed if we consciously pursue what is good for us. We have made it our mission to encourage a healthful lifestyle, and we work to provide you with opportunities to create the life you want.”
Interested parties can find out more about the standing desks available through the company’s website on the URL above or this Amazon link.
