Mr. Ruedy pointed out that homeowners can save $1,000 per month or more by refinancing their home loan into a lower interest rate mortgage. And not only can a substantial amount of money be saved, but if homeowners refinance soon, payments on the new loan will not start until June 1, 2017. This means that homeonwers who refinance quickly can skip paying their mortgage for two months.
According to Mr. Ruedy, “Anyone who is thinking about remodeling a kitchen or a bathroom, or anyone who wants to take the family on a nice vacation, should think about doing it soon. Now is the time to refinance, while mortgage interest rates are still so low. Not only can you benefit from a lower interest loan, but also you can also consolidate debt, skip a couple of mortgage payments, pay for a home remodel, or pay for a nice vacation.”
Mr. Ruedy urges homeowners thinking about refinancing their mortgage to act fast before interest rates rise.
