Norman,United States - October 12, 2022 /PressCable/ —
Hope Rising continues to innovate its range of research-based SEL curricula with the announcement of a series of new resources for educators. Founded on the “My Best Me” approach, the materials are designed to encourage social and emotional growth while fostering an optimal learning environment – and helping educators create a personalized learning experience for their students.

The “My Best Me” framework underpinning the new resources aims to help students discover their identity and purpose by improving their socio-emotional skills and developing both inter- and intra-personal skills.
The materials are student-centric and flexible, allowing educators to create either one-hour weekly lesson plans, or segment the resources into smaller time frames. The lessons are interactive and feature age-appropriate activities that promote optimal cognitive and social development, teach essential communication and self-management skills, and improve creativity, strategic thinking, and leadership skills, among others.
“The My Best Me curriculum contributes to the mental health and well-being of students while enhancing their social and emotional competencies,” said Hope Rising CEO Rocky Malloy. “Our unique approach develops the psycho-social skills of students through age and grade-appropriate strategies that will help build adaptive and positive behavior.”
To increase learning efficiency, Hope Rising also provides a comprehensive range of teacher and parent resources. All teachers will receive online training before starting the program, allowing them to understand the methodology and customize the materials to meet their students’ needs. A private Facebook group is also available to help teachers share ideas and learn from others.
Additionally, the Teacher’s Guides feature comprehensive instructions on the Hope approach, student activity pages, parent guides, and interactive media. All lessons also include parent summaries to highlight the core skills covered and provide further ideas to discuss at home – visit https://info.hoperisingsel.com/social-emotional-learning-sample for more details.
With the latest announcement, Hope Rising continues to expand its range of SEL curricula to promote family values and empower children to reach their full potential and become successful members of their communities.

‘A Statement’ Review: Just What We Need Right Now — Another Movie About Climate Change! But Tom McCarthy’s Historically Based Talkfest Reveals How Much We Knew in 1980
On paper, "A Statement" sounds like an interesting movie, but it’s at once talky and flat, grabby and meandering, impassioned and neutral. It wants to be a "firebrand" docudrama, yet I can’t imagine who the audience is going to be for it. My heartless prediction: next to no one.
