The new model will feature the slick street racing monster tires that are on the March 2017 release of the Trek-X. Hovertronix announced that it will be updating the body line with a sporty look and color. The new color will be a bright red which promises to be attractive to the rider and those passing by.
The new hoverboard, Drift-X, will continue to meet the quality standards of all Vecaro products. Hovertronix will sell the UL 2272 certified hoverboard which comes standard with Samsung 18650 batteries on all their products. Along with the certified battery, the hoverboard will be able to reach a top speed of 10 mph, comes equipped with Bluetooth speakers, the Vecaro mobile app, and auto-balancing technology.
According to a Hovertronix representative, the auto-balancing technology allows the rider to turn on the board making it easier to get on and off. “This is a major purchasing point for many people because the boards are being purchased by people of all ages, not just the young age group.”
