By wearing a SoftPulse activator for 20 minutes per day – involving no disruption of typical at-home activities – patients can now significantly accelerate their orthodontic progress.
The American orthodontics market is expected to grow at over 14% annually until the end of the decade to reach approximately $10 billion. Market growth is being fueled by a combination of new technologies, greater concern for self-image among younger adults, and an aging population in need of dental repairs. The Duryea Smiles Accelerated Treatment System uses SoftPulse Technology®, a system that produces precisely regulated micropulses to speed up orthodontic treatment remodelling. Patients wear a lightweight, non-intrusive mouthpiece for less than half an hour while going about their typical home routines. This activating process serves to hasten the remodelling of the bones surrounding a patient’s teeth.
