Immediately after, she continued her training with an additional fellowship in interventional cardiology at The Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center, which she completed in 2001.

Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), the doctor is board-certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
