Fulton Books author Lea Esteve, a third-grade teacher who also creates resources for other teachers and shares ideas through her website, The Education Window, has completed her most recent book "I Met a Little Bully": a powerful tale that follows a young girl who must manage her anxieties which have become the biggest bully in her life.
"Everyone deals with worry at times, but for some, it causes them to avoid everyday activities," writes Esteve. "'I Met a Little Bully' helps children distinguish their authentic voice from the voice in their head that tells them to worry. Through common situations such as going to school, bad weather, and performance anxiety, this encouraging picture book helps children in facing their 'worry bully' head-on. Even though our 'worry bully' never goes away, children learn to seek advice from a trusted adult and to try different techniques to push past that little voice. This book helps children take back control over their anxiety and allows them to have the courage to face the daily activities they once enjoyed."
