Local RV Park Highlights Unique Bird Habitat for Campers and Nature Lovers
Dec 31, 2019
December 31, 2019 - /PressAdvantage/ - Pensacola, Fla. - Avalon Landing RV Park, a reputable Pensacola area RV Park has acquired quite the reputation among the local community for its wildlife offerings. Recently, Avalon Landing has become widely known for its wide variety of resident and visiting water-related habitat bird varieties such as Brown Pelicans, Herons, and Kingfishers.
These birds are native to the area, but this time of year can be viewed in nature in their normal habitat, much to the delight of the Avalon Landing campers. They may be observed along Avalon Landing’s hundreds of feet of bayou and canal shoreline or in the Park’s on-site Pine Flatwoods conservation easement acreage.
Many first-time visitors to Avalon Landing RV park have chosen to share their thoughts online with fellow campers. Trip Advisor reviewer “Touring Stateside” stated, “The folks were terrific, even sent a text with Afterhours directions and entry detail, and they were just as pleasant the next morning. Roads were wide and paved; sites were large and (stone and concrete). Hookups were solid and well placed. Facilities were spotless, contemporary, and stocked. Cable was stellar and the fifth star is for WiFi that worked!”
In addition to bird watching from the campsite, guests may also rent the park’s kayaks and canoe for their birding exploration of the headwaters of Indian Bayou or the downstream saltwater marsh and Monterey Bay area leading into Escambia Bay. Both avid birdwatches and casual observers of these majestic and songful water habitat bird species are delighted with the Pensacola area RV Park Avalon Landing area’s birds and all the amenities nature has to offer.
