Magnolia, TX - February 2, 2017 /MarketersMedia/ —
Cynthia Wenz's new inspirational memoir, Healed for Life: A Story of Redemption, is now available for pre-order at Amazon, reports independent publisher Lucid Books. The book details her struggles with family trauma and teenage abortions and recounts the pivotal moment when she realized God's power to heal.
Said Lucid spokesperson Sammantha Lengl, "Cynthia's story is truly amazing, and we're proud to be able help her bring it to the public. Her memoir shares how she turned her life around through her faith, and it can serve as inspiration for anyone who has gone through similar challenges."
When Cynthia was pregnant at 29, her doctor urged her to get a third abortion, and she complied. But after the procedure, something was wrong. She was exhausted for weeks and her body just didn't feel right. Eventually she was shocked to discover that she was, in fact, still pregnant. She had been carrying twins, and one of the fetuses had actually survived the abortion. This was a life-changing moment for Cynthia. After years of abuse, depression, and many unfortunate choices, she found the courage to turn her life around with the help of God.
Now the CEO of The Source for Women, a health center dedicated to serving the needs of women at risk for unwanted pregnancies or abortions, Cynthia Wenz attributes her new-found meaning in life to the power of God's healing. She is sharing her story in order to offer hope to anyone with a difficult past and to assure them that they always have a choice to leave the hurt behind and embrace healing.
After Cynthia became CEO of the The Source in 2009, the business expanded from one to three health centers in the greater Houston area. Cynthia was named one of the 30 most influential people in Houston in 2013, and her ground-breaking work at The Source has been featured on National Public Radio along with other national and local news outlets. In addition to her professional success, she is happily married to real estate investor Chris Wenz and mother to three sons. Fans can read more from Cynthia at her blog, The Cynopsis.
To learn more about this and other titles, readers and writers can check out Lucid's website for the latest releases and news. Concluded Lengl, "We encourage all writers who have a story to tell to visit our site and see how we can help."
