Long Beach, California Sep 25, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - MSBG Corporation announced today the signing of a purchase agreement to acquire the SunMetricLab Green Energy Calculator Portal to extend its MeterNet MyGRID Network offerings. The transaction is scheduled to close by October 1, 2026 and terms were not released.
The SunMetricLab Green Energy Calculator Portal exists to answer one question honestly: what would rooftop solar renewable energy actually cost and save for your house, building or commercial property? Most online solar estimates are either too vague to act on or built as a sales funnel to collect your phone number for random installers. SunMetricLab site does neither. The independent SunMetricLab Energy Calculator Portal has three parts. The Calculators size a system, price it, and estimate savings and payback from your own inputs. Each SunMetricLab Energy Calculator result PDF is easily downloadable. The state and city Cost pages apply the same model to published sun-hour and electricity-rate data, with editorial notes on each state's net metering rules, current incentives and utilities. The Guides explain the concepts those numbers depend on, from performance ratios to export credits.
