Multiverse & Dimensional Mechanics: Plausible Sci-Fi Book Development Announced
Oct 15, 2026
New details have been announced for Revelation Equation, a plausible sci-fi novel that turns the mysteries of the multiverse into a science-driven story about the limits of human understanding.
Thonotosassa, United States, October 15, 2026 /NewsNetwork/ -- Retired board-certified psychiatrist and author Dr. Sam Toney has announced new development details for Revelation Equation, an upcoming plausible sci-fi novel exploring multiverse theory and dimensional mechanics. The project introduces an equation-based narrative in which a fictional mathematical formula drives the investigation of dimensions beyond human perception, connecting theoretical physics with questions about consciousness and reality.

The announcement comes as science fiction experiences significant growth in the publishing market. According to Circana BookScan data reported by Publishers Weekly, U.S. science fiction print sales increased by 93.1% during the first nine months of 2026 compared with the same period in 2025. Amid this growth, Revelation Equation introduces its plausible sci-fi approach, using scientific theories to shape a suspense-driven story.
The novel follows a protagonist who spends decades developing a mathematical equation that could reveal the structure of other dimensions. As the research progresses, the formula becomes central to an experiment involving CERN's Large Hadron Collider, bringing the fictional investigation to a pivotal moment.
Unlike conventional science fiction that uses speculative technology as background, Revelation Equation builds its plot around the scientific method. Its equation-based structure draws inspiration from string theory, quantum mechanics, and dimensional models, although the central formula and its proposed applications remain fictional.
The story also examines the psychological consequences of confronting an unfamiliar reality. Themes of identity, obsession, purpose, and belief emerge through characters whose discoveries challenge their understanding of the universe.
“I wanted to explore what happens when a mathematical discovery challenges everything we think we know about reality,” said Dr. Sam Toney. “The science drives the mystery, but it's the human response to the possibility of other dimensions that gives the story its meaning.”
Drawing on his experience as a retired board-certified psychiatrist, Toney explores how people might respond to discoveries that challenge their understanding of the world and everything they once believed to be true.
