More than just packing and moving boxes, True Friends Moving Company offers personalized solutions for seniors in the form of additional assistance and guidance where necessary as part of its expanded service. Other than the scheduled pickup and delivery, the movers are on hand to help with organization, packing, labeling, and even smaller tasks like hanging pictures and making the bed.

During the packing and moving process, the team ensures floor preservation and furniture padding for added protection. As and when needed, they also carry out the removal of unwanted household items, disassembly/reassembly of furniture, and disconnection/reconnection of appliances.

A company spokesperson stated: “We are experts in handling the often delicate issues that arise with senior relocation and we make it our mission to ease the transition for seniors and their families. We are happy to plan, coordinate, and supervise your entire move so that you can focus on a smooth transition.”

As a point of contact, a Move Manager will be assigned to the resident to coordinate the entire relocation process and ensure that it is carried out according to the customer's specifications.

True Friends Moving Company also gives tips and advice for seniors and their families to be mindful of even before the move takes place. This is a good way to manage expectations and ensure a smoother process from start to finish, according to the team.

The packing and moving team pays attention to every detail and operates with compassion and care at every stage of the move. The company recognizes that such a process can be both physically and emotionally challenging for seniors, especially when moving from long-time homes filled with possessions of great personal value.
