As part of the updated services, the studio’s lash artists apply eyelash extensions with minimal to no damage to the client’s natural lashes without overloading them, making them thicker and stronger.
The volume lash extensions at Sexy Lashes look and feel natural, with 80-140 lashes applied to each eye. Each lash is attached to the client’s own lashes instead of the skin to avoid irritation and to achieve a natural look.
The extensions applied at the salon are semi-permanent and water-resistant. While clients are advised not to get their lashes wet for 24 hours to allow the glue to cure, they can resume their normal activities, even swimming, as soon as the adhesive is set.
Sexy Lashes uses a specially-formulated adhesive when applying extensions to avoid itching and discomfort. The gentle adhesive dries naturally for about 10 minutes after the application, so the extensions feel soft and do not get clumpy. The salon recommends its clients use a spoolie to comb through and separate the lashes after the procedure for an impeccable look.
The beauty technicians also offer full-set eyelash extension refills, which can be done every week at the salon. During refill sessions, the lash technician tidies up the lashes with a brush and attaches new ones in the spots where the extensions fell off.
The salon advises its clients to get their extensions removed professionally, as tugging at the extensions to remove them can cause permanent damage to the hair follicle.
