No Monthly Fee Video Doorbell Camera with Built-In SD Card & Third Party API Support
Mar 13, 2020
Amcrest is the first company to release a wi-fi video doorbell camera with no monthly fee, as well free live viewing and recording integration with 3rd party software via RTSP.

Amcrest is proud to offer high quality products at an affordable price, which is why the company is delighted to present the brand new Amcrest doorbell camera. The 2.4 GHz wi-fi doorbell camera has a 140° viewing angle and night vision and motion detection up to 16 feet through a well-crafted 2mm lens. This means that users can see exactly who is approaching their home at any time of the day or night in high definition 1920x1080p resolution.
The doorbell camera supports both local microSD card recording as well as off-site storage on an Amcrest/ONVIF NVR, Synology/QNAP NAS or on the optional Amcrest SmartHome Cloud video storage service (secured by Amazon AWS). Both systems give customers full control over their recordings and the ability to manage them in any way they see fit. Customers can also view live recordings for free.
Easy to set up, the doorbell uses wi-fi and is ready to go in just a few taps after downloading the app and scanning the QR code. The rich picture in full 1920x1080 resolution at 20 frames per second means the end of squinting or guessing at who might be at the door and can be viewed on a computer screen as well as on the customer’s phone app.
Smart Motion alerts notify users of any activity using push notifications and customers can also check in to see what’s going on at their property at any time. The camera is also compatible with existing traditional mechanical and electronic digital chimes so not only can customers see who is coming, they can hear them as well. A two-way microphone and speaker system means that customers can talk to their visitors without having to open the door or even get up.
Amcrest offers all their customers a full 1-year US Warranty and lifetime technical support from their dedicated team. Customers also receive a 1-Year Free SmartHome Cloud Subscription. While the interface is designed for intuitive use, Amcrest have also provided an expansive knowledge base, including a YouTube channel, forums and US email/phone support team. So, if there are any issues, customers can find the answer they want in no time.
