A popular events center based in Greensboro, NC (336-218-6470) announces updates to its suite of ballrooms for cultural wedding celebrations.
Greensboro, United States - September 13, 2023 /PressCable/ —
The latest launch from Meridian Convention Center offers happy couples, families, and wedding planners a choice of elegant banqueting halls in which to host their event. The venue provides a versatile and high-end setting for celebrations for the Latino, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, African American, and Asian communities in the Triad area.

The announcement details Meridian's extensive array of facilities and well-appointed ballrooms. The center plays host to parties and events of all sizes, from small, intimate gatherings to large wedding receptions and ceremonies. The team brings a sensitivity to the unique requirements of every couple with an appreciation for the traditions and aesthetics of diverse cultures.
Among the rooms available for hire is the Madrid Ballroom. This hall offers 2,600 square feet of floor space and can comfortably house 80 to 100 guests for banqueting-style setups or 200 in a theater configuration. Fitted with six chandeliers, the ballroom has a timeless charm as well as all of the necessary modern facilities needed to make an event run smoothly.
Optional staging blocks measure 4 by 9 feet to provide a customizable focal point for a wedding celebration - for speeches or a small musical ensemble. A separate load-in entrance keeps catering and entertainment equipment out of the way of guests while the dedicated prep kitchen area with a fridge-freezer and a microwave makes reheating and serving food easy to organize.
The convention center team offers clients event planning, setup, and clean-up services alongside a range of complimentary touches such as a generous two-hour rehearsal period, parking facilities, and venue security. Tables, head tables, chairs, linens, and decorative lights can be rented from the venue.
For larger wedding parties, clients may wish to book the Grand Barcelona ballroom, which can host up to 600 guests in a banqueting-style configuration and comes with a private dressing room and restrooms.
A spokesperson says, “Capable of welcoming several hundred event-goers, Meridian Convention Center is ideal for both large-scale and intimate events. Possessing 40,000 square feet of total event space, the property has six renovated ballrooms, all of which feature distinctive and delightful designs.”
