Often, the auto manufacturer responds to the personal injury and wrongful death claims by saying that the driver did not use the autopilot feature properly. “Becoming comfortable with autopilot can certainly be helpful,” Miller says, “but if the system itself is faulty, there is no amount of practice that can help.”
