Palo Alto Ibogaine Treatment For Opioid Addiction | Natural Rehab & Detox Update
Sep 21, 2022
Palo Alto, CA - Casa Santa Isabel (1-800-706-4901) updates its ibogaine treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. The alternative therapy has been studied to reduce opioid withdrawal and sustained reduced use in dependent individuals within 12 months.
Rosarito,Mexico - September 21, 2022 /NewsNetwork/ —
Following the announcement, Casa Santa Isabel offers ibogaine as an effective alternative treatment to traditional drug addiction rehab. The substance, which is derived from a Western African shrub, interrupts the addiction process and allows the body to naturally detox from addictive substances. The full effects of ibogaine treatment are seen when combined with psychotherapy.

The updated treatment is used therapeutically for several indications, particularly for opiate addiction. Studies have shown that ibogaine, in proper doses, reduces symptoms of opioid withdrawal and blocks substance cravings.
Recent studies suggest that ibogaine changes the addiction-related pathways between nerve cells. The substance can also affect signaling in the brain which plays a role in the behavioral effects of addictive drugs.
Casa Santa Isabel offers strictly regulated ibogaine treatment. Before it is recommended as part of a patient’s recovery plan, clients must first be thoroughly assessed by the team. This is to recognize any contraindications, such as chronic health problems like hypertension and diabetes. Once approved by the lead physician, ibogaine treatment will immediately begin.
Typically, patients complete their ibogaine treatment within a week, though are recommended to stay longer to complete their psychiatric program. The group explains that ibogaine only “resets the brain” to the point before their addiction developed. Patients still need to undergo psychological treatment for true addiction cessation. A full addiction rehab usually lasts 12 months.
Casa Santa Isabel is a luxury drug rehab center in Mexico, which specializes in ibogaine treatments. Ibogaine is classified as a Schedule 1 Drug in the United States. However, ibogaine therapy is currently available in Mexico and New Zealand.
A spokesperson for the group said, “At Casa Santa Isabel our medical team takes every step necessary to rule out the possibility that you will experience any adverse side effects during your ibogaine treatment. Our doctor performs a complete physical including bloodwork and an electrocardiogram. We are also a fully equipped ACLS facility, so you can be assured that if anything unusual occurs during treatment we are able to intervene immediately.”
