Pipette.com will be adding different pipette types to their ecommerce platform.
Pipette.com will be adding multiple brands of Pasteur Pipettes. Pasteur Pipettes, also known as droppers or eye droppers, are laboratory liquid handling tools that are used to transfer small quantities of liquids. Pasteur Pipettes are traditionally made from glass, although nowadays plastic Pasteur Pipettes are commonplace in labs around the world. Pasteur Pipettes are essentially glass or plastic tubes that are tapered to a narrow opening point at the lower end and fitted with a plastic or rubber bulb at the upper end. The combination of a glass Pasteur Pipette and rubber bulb can also be known as a 'teat pipette'.
In addition, Pipette.com will be adding Disposable Transfer Pipettes. Disposable Transfer Pipettes are the Safer Alternative to Pasteur Pipettes. These one-piece, unbreakable low-density polyethylene plastic transfer pipettes are inert to biological fluids and most acids. They are a great alternative to Pasteur pipettes as you no longer have to deal with the hazards of broken glass and finding the correct bulb for your experiment. They are well-suited for blood banking (2 mL size), urinalysis, hematology, wet chemistry, microbiology, and serology.
