Nowadays, many people are concerned about the environmental impact of the cosmetics and personal care products that they use. Plastic packaging can take hundreds of years to break down in landfills. Harsh chemicals end up in soil and oceans, damaging the ecological system. With the new announcement, Scoop Marketplace offers customers eco-friendly products that are biodegradable and kind to both the skin and the environment.
Suds of Love, a popular product at the store, is a handcrafted moisturizing bar that can be used as a hand or body soap and shampoo. Its creamy lather also makes it suitable for shaving. The soap bar contains organic unrefined olive oil, coconut oil, and shea butter, which leave the skin smooth and soft. When used as a shampoo, the product allows preserving the hair’s natural oils and does not dry it out.
The soap is made using an ancient cold process technique that ensures there are no chemical residues in the product. According to the company, the soap can also remove stains from soiled clothing and can even be used for washing dishes.
Other personal care products offered by Scoop Marketplace include tooth tabs, deodorant, plant toilet paper, shampoo, sunscreen, and many others. Customers can purchase products for home cleaning, dishwashing, and laundry. The store also offers a wide selection of pre-packed food in reusable glass jars or compostable bags.
About Scoop Marketplace
The store has been created with the mission of minimizing the environmental impact of grocery shopping by eliminating disposable packaging and using eco-friendly ingredients. All of their products are held to strict sustainability standards. Customers can visit one of their two stores – in the Juanita Village in Kirkland and Downtown Renton, or shop online.
“Employees are very helpful, and the products are very reasonably priced,” said a satisfied client. “Huge selection of no waste products – just check out their site. Everything you could need and more for a no-waste lifestyle and a simple diet. I can’t recommend this place more highly.”
