In 2005, he was asked to join a group practice with two excellent dentists, Dr. Peter Shaw and Dr. Mark Jankowski. He worked with them until he purchased Summit Dental of La Mesa in 2011.

Remaining up to date in his field, he is an active member of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Disciplines, the International Association for Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the San Diego County Dental Society.
With a strong interest in treating sleep and TMJ disorders, Dr. Evans has opened the San Diego Therapy for Sleep and TMJ Disorders. He is Invisalign Certified and has also received his Oral Conscious Sedation Certificate.
As for his academic appointments, he was appointed to the UCLA School of Dentistry faculty in 1998 as a part-time faculty member.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
