Christmas is currently knocking at the door: it is this time when everyone takes a deep dive to reflect on the past and coming new year in the spirit of togetherness.
Are you looking for a Christmas track that you can enjoy both with your friends and family? Well, Rick Denzien has got a song for everyone, titled 'The Christmas Secret Song'. One of many great creations by Rick, that layers multiple sonic elements of rock, alternative, and Christian music and sounds perfect for the holiday season. The mix is clever, In the mix are snippets of many old time Christmas songs. How many clips can you hear?
The song has a lasting impact on listeners because of the creative musical arrangement, amplified& complemented by impactful lyrics. Not your typical fluffy Christmas song, but still with an open invitation. Rick teamed up with Lyra Project's Debra Lee to create this masterpiece with her singing backing vocals and playing piano. The song unfolds and sets about addressing the deep social issues & emotions shared by people during the "Dark time of the year". In fact, Lyra Project has its own release of the song too.
Rick is a talented artist, and multi award noted songwriter who is well-revered as a Zero Emission Musician. This means his music-making process is completely Eco-friendly, sustainable and zero emission. "Pollution kills us all", he says. Rick Denzien is a recording artist, singer/songwriter, activist, educator, and environmentalist who really walks the talk in his passion for music and nature. In other words, you won't see him flying to a protest about leaking oil pipelines, he would drive there in his zero-emission solar powered Electric Vehicle instead. His studio is powered most of the year by rooftop solar & battery backup.
Previously, he has dropped several amazing albums namely, 'Heal the Land', 'Recently', 'Laser Writing on the Moon', 'Exit 21', and 'Radiate'. Each of these music projects depicted by Rick Denzien are slices of his story - skilfully told.
He also produced, recorded, or mixed other artists albums too: Like Michael G. Ronstadt 'Foolish Fox', Heads or Tails 'Freed by Keys' even Blood Hound Gang 'Use Your Fingers' and Kool G Rap 'Half a Klip'. 'The Christmas Secret Song' contains all his best musical styles. Enjoy!
