A new Loving Literacy Campaign has been launched by Little Miracles, the Rutherford based day care and preschool specialists. Loving Literacy has a unique approach to day care and encouraging a love of reading in children.

With the newly launched Loving Literacy campaign, emphasis is placed on children’s literacy and encouraging a love of reading. Little Miracles believes that children’s knowledge about literacy is built through experiences with speaking and listening, songs, drama, and early writing experiences.
Little Miracles designs games and activities that support the development of phonemic awareness, and utilize a play based approach that helps children to grow at their own pace.
Little Miracles provides a literacy enhanced environment that children can explore through their play at all ages. This is backed by support for literacy in all its modes, from talking and listening through to viewing, dance, drama and critical thinking skills.
As part of the new campaign, children can get a specially designed reading pack that contains a CD, child’s song book, and magnetic board with 26 magnets that are used in fun games. These are designed to ensure that children learn vital reading skills without even realizing.
Little Miracles states: “We believe that children learn best through a play based approach and that children all develop at their own pace, which is why we strive to provide a learning environment with rich experiences and interactions everyday.”
It adds: “The goal at each Little Miracles centre is to create an environment where your child feels loved, valued, safe and free to develop to their full potential.”
