Get to know Chiropractor Dr. Ryan Collins, who serves patients in Chamblee, Georgia.
New York City, Mar 27, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Dr. Collins is a remarkable chiropractor who sees patients at Sautre Chiropractic in Chamblee, Georgia. There, he works alongside Dr. Sautre, aiming to reduce pain, restore functional independence, and improve overall quality of life.
A Georgia native and a former high school football player, Dr. Collins learned about the power of healing through chiropractic while attending the University of Georgia with aspirations of becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon. At that time, his mother began to suffer from severe thyroid issues. Unresponsive to medications, she was told that she would need surgery and medications for the rest of her life. Thankfully, she sought out a second opinion from a chiropractor. After being under chiropractic care, her symptoms were completely gone and felt the best she had in her life. This "miraculous" recovery got Dr. Collins' attention!
This was occurring on the cusp of Dr. Collins' twin brother's life being in jeopardy after a car crash left him a life-threatening neck fracture known as a hangman's fracture, from which most people are paralyzed or die. Thank God, he survived, and chiropractic was key in his miraculous recovery to walk again and return to an exciting life as a chef.
After these two life changing events, Dr. Collins' life took a new meaning and he decided to become a chiropractor. After graduating from the University of Georgia, he attended Life University, where he grew an affinity for upper cervical care after seeing results on patients and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He is grateful for many years of clinical experiences in sports and family practice, which led him to now join one of the best upper cervical chiropractic clinics in the nation.
Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine that mainly deals with the diagnosis and treatment of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. A chiropractor uses spinal adjustments, manipulation, and other techniques to manage patients' health concerns, including neck pain and back pain. They aim to improve patients' functionality and quality of life by properly aligning the body's musculoskeletal structure and enabling the body to heal itself without the use of medication or surgery.
In his personal life, Dr. Collins married his college sweet-heart and now has two young boys. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports, tasting new foods, volunteering for charitable organizations, and speaking to local schools and businesses about his unique experience in chiropractic.
