FULTON, Mo. - July 2, 2020 - (Newswire.com)
Tammy Bartley, a teacher for a children’s Sunday school and Bible Club, an after-school program for children K–5th grade, has completed her new book “Judging Maggie Marie”: a touching yarn about a young girl who learns the virtue of being open-minded toward her cousin despite their stark differences.
Tammy writes, “Kate’s cousin, Maggie Marie, has come from the city for a visit on the farm. Kate finds Maggie annoying, and other than their age, she doesn’t see that they have anything in common. Kate’s mother encourages Kate to look at Maggie Marie the way God looks at us—from our hearts. An adventure in the woods changes everything. Kate realizes that she has misjudged Maggie and finally sees Maggie’s friendship as a true treasure.”
Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Tammy Bartley’s new book is a wonderful compendium for children to learn the true meaning of loving and respecting others regardless of the differences in their behavior and not being able to instantly connect to a personal level.
Follow Kate as she sees the genuineness of her cousin Maggie that brings insight to her mind and a newfound appreciation for her despite their contrasting natures.
Readers can purchase “Judging Maggie Marie” at bookstores everywhere or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, or Barnes and Noble.
