The gaming world is waiting for the new premium games to come. The company Gamesup42.
Aug 13, 2020
New York City, Aug 13, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - The release of a premium 3D platformer Biped on PC and consoles at the worldwide market turned out a hit. Gamesup42 shareholders are planning to invest $10 million in the development of AAA gaming projects in 2021. And this is just the first step.
META Publishing, an indie games publisher and one of the brands belonging to GAMESUP42 holding, was responsible for the release of Biped. The game itself was developed by Tencent, the NExT's internal Studio. The product is a coop, dynamic adventure three-dimensional game with a strong focus on continuous collaboration between players to solve common puzzle tasks. The game entered the market in spring 2020, just at the peak of the coronavirus pandemic and the universal self-isolation regime when people massively rushed to the Internet to find entertainment.
In the opinion of Ilya Salamatov, the founder of META Publishing, increased demand for premium video games relates to the rapid evolution of the Internet infrastructure, the improvement of the neural networks' performance, and an overall transition to remote communication. Restrictions associated with the pandemic are persisting, causing people to get stuck in their homes and invent new ways of entertainment, preferably, with the whole family. That is why Gamesup42 products have gained much traction.
It is worth noting that, according to the field experts, by 2023 the global number of active online game players will rise beyond three billion.
