Madison, Wisconsin Jul 6, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Three local wedding businesses announced today that they will be teaming up to create "DRAG ME TO BRUNCH", an elevated SUNDAY FUNDAY experience featuring a catered brunch, drag performances from local and regional drag performers, DJ, and signature mimosas in the heart of Wisconsin's Driftless Region in Mount Horeb. The brunch event, a collaborative effort between The Eloise, ZBT Events, and OSO IN LOVE Wedding & Event Curators, will make its debut on August 14th, 2022 at The Eloise. Doors will open at 10:00 AM with the entertainment beginning at 11:00 AM. More information and reservations are available at bit.ly/3tTlJ1.
"We started The Eloise with a mission that we wanted every couple, regardless of background or orientation, the opportunity for their dream wedding," said Ben Martinelli, owner of The Eloise. " Not only do we want our weddings to be inclusive, but also our community events we have recently started. We have wanted to host a drag show brunch for a while now and be able to show our support for the LGBTQ+ community. We are looking forward to hosting many of these events in the future!!"
"In the wedding industry, Saturdays in the summer are dedicated to weddings, but other days of the week offer opportunities to plan and design other amazing events," ZBT Events owner Kate Marquardt shared. " When I initially met with Ben and Stacey at The Eloise to talk about some public events, we had a lot of ideas, but drag show brunch was at the top of the list. To work with amazing professionals on entirely inclusive and extremely entertaining events has been an amazing addition to the summer wedding schedule. I'm so excited for this event and will definitely be dragging everyone I can gather out to Mount Horeb! (And hopefully, they'll just come willingly!)" added Marquardt.
"As the owner of a small LGBT+ business, it excites me to be able to bring an important part of my community to my work. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to collaborate with my colleagues to produce a fun and entertaining event that gives us the opportunity to show members of the community and especially future brides and grooms what we are capable of doing. We're hoping to pack The Eloise for the debut brunch, so I'd be sure to get my reservations right away!" said OSO IN LOVE owner/operator, Rob Anderson.
