Time is money, or so the old adage goes.

And yet, for all the obvious benefits that time tracking brings, many consultants fail to keep detailed records (that is, a consultant timesheet report), hastily piecing together the hours that they’ve spent on a project during the final stages of invoicing.

Does this sound like a familiar scenario?

Well, don’t worry. You’re certainly not alone:

In a recent survey conducted by the London Business School, only 18% of those questioned actually made the effort to track their daily work hours. Even worse, a staggering 22% admitted that they rarely track the hours they work more than a few times per month.

The result?

Up to 60% of those same survey participants admitted that they almost certainly lost track of anywhere between 10% to 30% of every project’s potentially invoice-able hours.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

Using a tool like TimeSheet Reporter allows you to take back control of your consulting projects, leaving less uncertainty, and less money on the table.

Even better, using Timesheet Reporter is cost effective, simple to implement and gives your consulting business a real competitive edge:

Invoicing and Accounting is Streamlined:

Because TimeSheet Reporter integrates seamlessly with Outlook’s calendar, it’s simple to add detailed, itemized project time logs, variable hourly rates and even travel expenses right into your Outlook calendar entries. That means when it come to invoicing time, you’ll be able to accurately (and quickly) tally up the exact costs for each and every project.

You’ll Gain Valuable Business Data:

TimeSheet Reporter lets consultants export their time, hourly rate and expenses into easy to understand reports, complete with graphical charts and tables. In other words: everything you need to identify your main costs and improve upon your business processes.

Even if you charge set fees for consulting, TimeSheet Reporter allows you to identify which clients and types of project demand the most attention, giving you the opportunity to fine tune your costs on a project-by-project basis, and better manage your consultation schedule and workflow.

You’ll Achieve Better Client Transparency:
