Montreal pillow manufacturer Pilloo announced updates to its service, allowing clients in Toronto to create custom pillows featuring photos of family and friends.

The update comes in response to a growing demand for unique, family-friendly Christmas gift ideas. “A lot of consumers are getting tired of giving the same sweaters and coffee mugs as gifts every year,” explained a spokesperson for Pilloo. “Our updated pillow design service allows them to make personal and memorable gifts that will be cherished for many years.”
The service, which can be requested through Pilloo’s website, offers an easy-to-use building interface where clients can customize their pillows. All they have to do is upload their photo and select a pillow size, and then the system generates a mockup of the pillow, which they can edit and adjust until they are content with the end result.
The pillow shells are made from a combination of high-quality polyester and soft velvet while the filling is an eco-friendly stuffing material. For the printing, the photos are transferred onto the fabrics using heat and non-toxic inks and resins, ensuring a bold and long-lasting image.
All of Pilloo’s pillows are hypoallergenic, anti-microbial, and safe for use by children and pets. They are also machine-washable, so clients can care for them more easily and ultimately extend their lifespans.
Pilloo has been providing clients from around the world with personalized pieces of home décor since 1999. All of their products are handmade at their Montreal manufacturing facility and rigorously inspected for quality assurance.
