UAE Canadian Migration Consulting | Parents & Grandparents Program (PGP) Update
Oct 25, 2022
Y-Axis Middle East (+971-0-42 48 3900), has updated its Canadian family/spousal immigration services in light of the government’s announcement last week to invite additional candidates to submit applications for the country’s parents and grandparents (PGP) program.
Dubai,United Arab Emirates - October 25, 2022 /PressCable/ —
The agency, which provides personal one-to-one migration counselling to approximately 50,000 individuals every month, has updated its Canada immigration services for 2022 to reflect the new announcement regarding the government’s PGP initiative. Over the next weeks, over 20,000 interested potential sponsors will get invitations to apply from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). This number will allow IRCC to fulfill its mandate to accept up to 15,000 complete applications for sponsorship.
More details can be found at https://www.y-axis.ae
Y-Axis Middle East, a branch of the largest B2C immigration firm in the world, now offers services to help those selected candidates draft and process their visa sponsorship applications to Canada. The consultancy maintains in-house registered immigration agents and counselors to help ensure that candidates’ paperwork meets all requirements. The service complements Y-Axis Middle East programs that facilitate applicants’ permanent residencies in Canada.
Successful sponsorship of Canadian residents’ extended families depends primarily on the applicant’s financial situation. He or she must have the MNI – Minimum Necessary Income – to cover the relocation and living expenses of those family members. Therefore, the number of family members being sponsored is especially relevant: those candidates who fail to meet the MNI will be refused.
However, the IRCC is reducing its MNI thresholds for the calendar years 2021 and 2020 by 30% due to the loss of income many people have endured during the pandemic. Furthermore, what is called ‘The Super Visa’ – which has a 10-year validity period and permits holders to stay in Canada as visitors for five years without having to renew their documentation – may also be available to parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens.
Y-Axis Middle East, which is accredited by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) and the British Council, also manages both study visa and spousal sponsorship applications. More than 80% of student visa applications submitted outside of Canada should be processed in less than 60 days. The typical application processing window for applications submitted inside Canada is 120 days.
The company recognizes the emotional toll and hardships individuals experience when separated from both their motherland and their extended families. Under the PGP program, prospective sponsors have the opportunity to remedy their situation – and Y-Axis Middle East can help.
One client recently commented: “I highly recommend Y-Axis for visa consultation. Mr. Sumanth is very professional and helpful in guiding me regarding the documentation and filling out the application. The overall support given by the entire team is very good.”
