Van Isle Glass Now Services All Glass Needs in Victoria, BC

August 09, 2019 - /PressAdvantage/ - For more than 20 years Van Isle Auto Glass has been serving customers in lower Vancouver Island as a windshield replacement and repair shop. Owner Diana Steele used her experience in teaching, sales and marketing to build an independent business that focuses on customer service and quality. She is also a proud supporter of the community as a local business, including supporting the Victoria Operatic Society, the Victoria Grizzlies hockey team, and the Soroptimist International of Victoria Westshore Initiatives.

What began as a business for auto glass in 1998 has since branched out to cover all auto, commercial, and residential glass. To better reflect the services that are offered, it has been officially renamed to Van Isle Glass. The people and businesses of Victoria can expect the same fast and quality service for their glass repair and replacement needs, with auto glass technicians that are certified by the British Columbia Training Authority (ITA) to work on all domestic and foreign auto glass.

For businesses and commercial buildings in the area, Van Isle Glass can replace or repair most glass features in the event they become cracked, chipped, or broken. The commercial glass services include custom cut glass features for unusual sizes or shapes. They can also replace old and/or poorly insulated windows with new glass that insulates against the hot summers and cold winters. Businesses are able to download a credit application for large-scale projects. Van Isle is able to repair or replace plate glass windshields for truckers or a truck fleet business, as well as for custom businesses and homes that use it.

Van Isle Glass has also become the glass repair specialists for residential glass repair and replacements, including houses, townhomes, apartments and condos in Victoria and the surrounding area. They are able to repair or replace tempered glass, laminated glass, toughened glass, and annealed glass. Even if people have oddly shaped windows, glass stair railings, bathroom glass, or other glass fixtures in their homes, Van Isle is able to repair or cut a custom replacement to fit exactly as needed. They also provide thermal glass windows to better regulate the temperature of the home, as well as seal repair for thermal windows one may already have.

After more than two decades, Van Isle Glass still offers the same package of auto glass services: repairing chips and small cracks, replacing broken or shattered windshields, restoring old and dim headlights, and applying the Aquapel treatment to improve the rain and water barrier on your windshield and windows. In addition, those interested can contact Van Isle Glass about their Victoria window tinting service — it can help reduce the glare, UV radiation and heat from sunlight that comes through windows.

As an ICBC Accredited glass repair shop, Van Isle Glass is a certified ICBC Glass Express facility to work with your comprehensive insurance coverage. Their service technicians are able to process your insurance claim for you while the work is being completed. Van Isle is also an authorized service provider for people with insurance through a private company. People can contact them with their paperwork for the claim online and they will get the process started.
