Nagakawa Group, a leading domestic manufacturer and distributor of electrical appliances in Vietnam, achieved its highest sales and second-highest profit in the first quarter of this year, making significant progress toward its 2023 business plan.
Nagakawa Group executives attributed recent successes to effective marketing and communication strategies that reduced customer acquisition costs despite fierce competition from more than 100 air conditioner brands in the country. The key was to put the customers at the center of the business, shift to a "customer-centric" approach to research technology continuously, create delicate designs and deliver a holistic experience at all touchpoints of the buying journey.
With impressive business results and a commitment to innovation and sustainable growth, Nagakawa Group has proven itself as one of the top players in the industry and further its mission of raising the standard of living in Vietnam. Nagakawa Group was named among the Top 500 fastest-growing enterprises in Vietnam (Vietnam Fast 500) in 2023 and the Top 50 Vietnam Best Growth for three consecutive years (2021, 2022 and 2023).
In April, the group appointed Tran Bao Chau as its new Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer, bringing her 20 years of experience from major companies in Vietnam, such as Vingroup, Viettel, and FPT. Her expertise will be vital in enhancing Nagakawa Group's marketing and sales strategies to reach new heights in the industry.
Chau has extensive knowledge in digital marketing, digital transformation, mobile marketing and added-value services, and television copyrights. She is also among the active contributors and speakers at the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA Global) Vietnamese branch. She is known as one of the pioneers in content providers and mobile platforms (CSPs) in the marketing community.
Previously, Chau was the Chief Marketing Officer at Austdoor Group, the leading name in doors and construction materials and the first enterprise in the building materials sector focusing on digital transformation in Vietnam. Within two years, she helped Austdoor Group enter the top 500 Vietnamese largest enterprises for the first time and become one of the ten fastest-growing firms nationwide in 2020.
During the economic turmoil caused by Covid- 19, Chau worked closely with Austdoor Group to maintain business growth. She actively promoted building digital platforms to manage the customer experience as one of the strategic missions, driving the group’s major successes.
