Wildfires in Sonoma, California Prompt 50,000 Evacuations

Area Residents Urged to Stay Vigilant and Alert for Short-Notice Evacuation Efforts

Woodbridge, United States - November 20, 2019 /MarketersMedia/ —

At least 50,000 people were evacuated in California on Saturday due to the massive wildfires that have charred vast regions of the state. The evacuation was a preemptive measure made by authorities ahead of strong winds that could worsen the existing fires in the area.

According to Sonoma County’s Sheriff's Office, their ongoing evacuation effort will be the biggest in the country in over 25 years. Apart from the county's initiatives, the Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) company will also shut off power in six phases as firefighters battle flames in both Northern and Southern California.

To ensure that residents are ready for short-notice evacuations, authorities advised residents to prepare their survival packs, loaded with daily and survival gear for several days. Apart from sustenance, clothing, medication, tech gear, and first aid essentials, it's also important to have hygiene products stored inside these go-bags.

Surviveware, maker of innovative adventure and survival products, offers an ideal hygiene product for evacuation: Surviveware's Biodegradable Wet Wipes. These multi-functional wipes work well during evacuations when a showering facility is not always readily available.

Surviveware’s Biodegradable Wet Wipes are multi-functional and can be used in a variety of ways. Apart from being a camping and hiking essential, these no-rinse wet wipes can also be used for one's everyday hygiene needs. The wipes are soft and durable for cleaning equipment, gear, and accessories, which will come in handy when spending several days away from home in a state of evacuation. They are smooth and will not scratch or leave marks on any material or surface. These wipes are available on Amazon Prime, which makes the product quickly available to those facing emergencies.

The wipes stand out among competitors in large part due to the formulation. Each sheet is soaked in a hypoallergenic and nourishing formula that effectively cleanses the skin without causing dryness or irritation. The wipes are also fragrance-free, which is perfect for those with sensitivities. With Surviveware's wet wipes, those on-the-go don't have to worry about attracting unwanted attention from animals and critters.

Surviveware, founded for those seeking adaptable and conscious solutions to nature’s foibles, makes these wet wipes from biodegradable materials. A single sheet begins to decompose within 28 days after use. The cloth will completely disintegrate within 8 to 12 months- far shorter than wipes containing plastic threads that take hundreds of years to decompose.

Larger than regular wet wipes, Surviveware's Biodegradable Wet Wipes measure 8" x 12," which is perfect for a quick body wipe down. An average-sized person can wipe off sweat and dirt with just one or two sheets.

Surviveware encourages people to level up their disaster preparedness. In this featured review, a Surviveware customer shares his experience from Hurricane Michael:

"Used this product to clean up when we were without water for bathing. Because of Hurricane Michael. Great emergency provision."
